More Mealtime Fun!

Elliot has quite the appetite! And, what's really nice, he's not too particular about what he eats! So far he's been a fan of Mom's cooking- especially sloppy joes, meatloaf, and pasta. He's even warming up to broccoli. For those of you who are keeping track, the score is now Elliot 6, Broccoli 5. Broccoli is making the comeback of the year! It was trailing 6-1 just 2 short months ago.

SPRING at LAST!

Minnesota is not known for it's Springs, and this year was no exception. Finally, the last week of May, we're getting Spring weather. So what does a stay-at-home mom do when the weather turns nice? Well, we go to the park! Elliot LOVES the park. More importantly, he loves the swings. Swings and Elliot go way back- to the first 4 months of his life when that's the ONLY place we could get him to sleep- in his infant swing. Luckily there are 2 parks within walking distance that both have toddler swings. Elliot has tested them all out!

Mother's Day

We celebrated Mother's Day this year with a great brunch- two egg stratas, fruit salad, monkey bread (Kyle's favorite) and great coffee. The Domeiers came over and it was all quite yummy! Kyle and Elliot gave me a nice spa package for my first Mother's Day (this is Anna writing this time, by the way), but the best gift came from Elliot- who decided that Mother's Day would be the perfect day to wave at his Mama for the first time (top photo). To top that off, he also showed us that he was "SO BIG" (bottom photo).

March for Babies

Well, we did it. It was cold and wet, but we mangaged to walk the entire 4.5 mile trail for the Mankato March of Dimes March for Babies (say that 3x fast!). Mankato raised over $85,000, with the Good Family raising a mere $150 of that total. Not bad for first-time walkers though! Only in Minnesota (and possibly Canada) would you get a mix of rain, sleet, and low 40s temps on April 27th!
