Elliot turns ONE!

On June 7, 2008 we celebrated Elliot's first birthday. Wow, time has FLOWN by! It's just amazing how he (and our lives) have changed. He's SUCH a big boy now- I swear he grows overnight, he's almost walking, but a speedy crawler until then. He gets into EVERYTHING (although he has yet to discover there's water in the toilet! yay!), and is becoming an expert climber. Sounds like your typical one-year-old, right?

Grandma and Grandpa Good came to visit from Ohio. They were so excited to see him (and thankfully, he wasn't afraid of them, that's also a new phase we're in).

For his big-day party we had mostly family, but some of his little friends showed up to help him celebrate too! Okay, seven of his little friends. SEVEN one-year-olds! I may be crazy, but it sure was a good time! The weather was nice too, so we were able to play outside too.

The local bakery made a "smoosh" cake just for Elliot. He wasn't sure what to do with it at first, so Kyle showed him what to do. After a quick glance at me to make sure it was okay (I think he thought his dad was joking), he went to town! There was cake and green frosting everywhere! Here are some pictures from the event:
